Why the two numbers are not the same
Frisco Famous is part of a business, so advertising income is taxed like any other income. Some of it also goes to payment processing fees and the basic costs of keeping the site and our email running. What is left goes to sponsorships, and the more local businesses advertise, the more we can give.

Choose a placement, upload your artwork and details, and submit. Our team reviews every ad, usually within a couple of days. Once approved you get a link to pay securely with Stripe, and the ad goes live right away. Nothing is charged until your ad is approved.
Can I write the sponsored story myself?
Yes. Paste your finished article and we lightly edit it for style and length. Or give us the key facts and we write it in the Frisco Famous voice and send it to you for approval before it runs.
Can I remove my ad early? Are there refunds?
You can take your ad down at any time from your member portal and it stops showing immediately. Payments are final once made, so removing an ad early does not result in a refund.
